    Role: Business development executive

    Location: Boston or home-based office with up to 50% travel

Metware has labs and offices in Wuhan, Shanghai, Changsha, and Shenzhen, and is now expanding globally to Boston. Metware is committed to providing effective and timely metabolomics services in life science and biomedical research worldwide.

    About this role:
    We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to expand Metware's products and services to all regions of North America.
    1.    Develop sales plans and be responsible for identifying leads and potential clients in the region to complete sales goals. 
    2.    Expand client base through online contact or offline visitations, and maintain customer relationships. 
    3.    Present Metware's products and services to potential clients virtually or in person. 
    4.    Attend conferences and/or trade shows and generate leads.
    5.    Provide suggestions for product or service promotions or marketing strategies.
    6.    Communicate with clients on project requirements and draft contracts, quotes, or agreements. 
    7.    Maintain sales data and present progress in weekly, monthly, and quarterly meetings. 

    To be successful in this role, you will require the following;
    1.    A degree in biology, pharmacy, medicine, or other related majors with 2 years of experience in business development or sales roles.
    2.    Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills. 
    3.    Proven record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
    4.    Demonstrate sound decision-making, critical thinking, and organizational skills
    5.    Be able to travel up to 50% of the time. 
    6.    Enthusiastic about biotechnology and omics technologies including NGS, proteomics, metabolomics, and lipidomics.
