    About the Opportunity:

    We are looking for motivated and responsible individuals to handle and process biological samples for proteomics experiments. This position will be based in Boston (Woburn) with occasional travel for training purposes.

    1. Master the whole experimental process of proteomics sample pretreatment, proteolytic hydrolysis and LC-MS/MS;

    2. Responsible for the preparation and analysis of biological samples related to proteomics research;

    3. Responsible for the use, management and maintenance of laboratory proteomics related instruments to ensure laboratory standards and safety;

    4. Responsible for finishing the records and reports related to experimental analysis;

    5. Complete other tasks assigned by superiors.


    To be successful in this role, you will require experience and skills in the following:

    1. Bachelor degree or above, major in biology, molecular biology, analytical chemistry or related fields;

    2.  Has hands-on experience in molecular biology laboratory operation, especially in protein extraction; 

    3.  Fluent in English and knowledge of Chinese is a major asset;

    4.  Experience in proteomics technology, LC-MS/MS operation is preferred;

    5. Passionate to science, attentive to details, and meticulous in record keeping. 

    6. Exercises high degree of integrity. Demonstrate strong critical thinking skill. 

    7. Can adhere to SOP and suggest ways to improve.

    About this role:
    We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to expand Metware's products and services to all regions of North America.
    1.    Develop sales plans and be responsible for identifying leads and potential clients in the region to complete sales goals. 
    2.    Expand client base through online contact or offline visitations, and maintain customer relationships. 
    3.    Present Metware's products and services to potential clients virtually or in person. 
    4.    Attend conferences and/or trade shows and generate leads.
    5.    Provide suggestions for product or service promotions or marketing strategies.
    6.    Communicate with clients on project requirements and draft contracts, quotes, or agreements. 
    7.    Maintain sales data and present progress in weekly, monthly, and quarterly meetings. 


    To be successful in this role, you will require the following;
    1.    A degree in biology, pharmacy, medicine, or other related majors with 2 years of experience in business development or sales roles.
    2.    Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills. 
    3.    Proven record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
    4.    Demonstrate sound decision-making, critical thinking, and organizational skills
    5.    Be able to travel up to 50% of the time.

    Position: Laboratory Technician

    About the Opportunity:

    We are looking for motivated and responsible individuals to handle and process biological samples for metabolomics experiments. This position will be stationed in Boston (Woburn) with occasional travel for training purposes. The responsibilities include: 
    1. Categorize, label, record, and properly store incoming samples according to SOP;
    2. Perform sample extraction, detection, and experimental controls according to SOP and keep meticulous experimental records faithfully;
    3. Perform data analysis and data QC using standardized analysis pipeline, upload and submit the data in a timely manner within the project TAT;
    4. Timely report and summarize problems or issues occurred during the experiment and propose solutions and recommendations for process improvements or optimizations;
    5. Maintain a clean working environment and ensuring work area meets all experimental requirements;
    6. Carry out sample packaging and facilitate logistics to and from other facilities.

    To be successful in this role, you will require experience and skills in the following:

    1. A Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry or related majors.
    2. Experience in chromatography (LC-MS) would be an asset.
    3. A quick learner with excellent verbal and written communication skills and critical thinking skills.
    4. Attentive to details and keeps meticulous experimental records.
    5. Enthusiastic about science with a can-do attitude.
